Tata Tea Inc.

Tata Tea Inc.'s production facility is located on a 4.5 acre plot in Plant City, Florida, and is well equipped with spray dryers, blenders, micro-milling machines, and bulk jar packing lines. Here, the basic instant tea powders are reprocessed by changing physical parameters like density and particle size, or by altering formulations with flavors, sweeteners, or other food ingredients. In order to service more customers, the production capacity was doubled in 1994. In the last few years, the company has manufactured and supplied to customers more than 40 different instant tea products.

The plant is operated by experienced personnel backed up by a modern quality assurance laboratory. All of Tata Tea's products have 'Kosher' certification. While the company does not have its own brand, its instant tea products are present in many famous labels.

The Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce awarded Tata Tea, Inc., the Plant City Industry of the year award in 1994 for outstanding contribution to the economic growth and development of Plant City.
