The estate has the distinction planting out. A completely new division (Viriparai Division) of 115.12 Ha. out between planted from season 1991/92 to 1995/96.

The spacing of planting followed was 4 x 2 x 2 in this new area.
The Clones used were TRI 2025, B-6/61, B-5/63, Cleft 6017, TTL-1, TTL-2 to ensure optimum yields & cup characteristics above par.
