Borjan Tea Estate

The name is derived from "BOR" (big) and "JAN" (Stream). As per earlier records, there were two streams, one flowing near the factory (presently three ponds) and the other through the periphery of the V.P. Nursery (which is a paddy field at present). The oldest section was planted in 1890.
